Making a bustier top a bust out in style moment.
Why are bustier tops so cute and versatile? Okay don’t ask because I think we know why. It can be worn casually or for nights out depending on how you flip it. Or if you’re like me then it’s being worn to the grocery store, because why not.
Denim is a certified classic that can be worn in a plethora of ways but what if the boob cups had some art on them? Maybe some bold textiles that felt edgy or sequined fabrics that felt like a daydream. It needed some pizazz to insert itself as a staple piece. Thrifting fabrics like a mf is the go-to for Babbydouf, so I probably went through many old sequined dresses in plum, fuchsia, and disco-ball blue like I was at a fabric trade show. If you know, you know!
For some reason the olive green chiffon sequin fabric kept flashing in my mind like a prophetic message. It needed to be the official boob cup fabric.

I debated on using a multi-striped pink and coffee brown fabric that felt like a nod to the early 2000s, but decided meh, maybe next season!
Anywho, the sparkly denim bustier was born with nursery blue buttons and candy pink beads that made it playful.
